Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions:

Please ensure you understand and agree to the Terms and conditions before booking your skate lesson, skate adventure, private lessons, birthday party, camp or event.

When you complete a booking you are deemed to understand the below outlined terms and conditions and are bound by these conditions of sale.

Waiver Forms - No waiver, no skate policy

A waiver form is required to be completed in full with correct details prior to each session. A new waiver form must be completed with each new booking. If a waiver form is not received with the booking and is not completed prior to the session your child will not be able to participate. All waiver forms must be completed online.

Bookings:

All term bookings are to be made via the online store - www.rocknslideskateboarding.com only. Private sessions, birthday parties, events and special requests are to be booked directly via www.rocknslideskateboarding.com or email hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com.

Term sessions are open to current clients first with a 1 week 'grace' period. No sessions will be held and all payments are to be made via the online portal. The wait list will be notified 1 week after current clients before being advertised. If current clients wish to change/swap classes an email is required to be sent to hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com with details of the change. No swaps are guaranteed and are based on availability.

Prices may vary between classes so any bookings changed/classes swapped my incur an outstanding balance. If applicable please ensure payment is made of the outstanding balance. If no payment is made your booking is not complete and therefore your space in the class is not secure. You will be notified of any pricing differences and emailed a payment link in this case.

If a session does not have enough participant sign-ups it will not run. RockNSlide will advise anyone that has signed up to the session if this is the case and either find an alternative session or provide a credit or refund. 

Private Sessions:

All sessions dates and times must be booked upon initial request and payment is required upfront. We do not offer any refunds. Any sessions missed by you in the case of a no show will not be refunded or credited. Prices are subject to change without notice. Sessions are subject to change due to scheduling needs however this will be a one off and your regular time will remain for remaining weeks. In the case of change we will contact you and arrange a time for reschedule. We do not offer refunds in this case. Credits will be provided case by case if a session is unable to be rescheduled. 

Payment and Pricing Policy

 All pricing is displayed and charged in Australian Dollars only.

We accept major credit cards and Paypal payments.

Pricing is adjusted and tailored per class/day depending on school term lengths and public holidays.

 All bookings and purchases require immediate payment. Sessions will not be held without payment.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Refunds, Cancellations, Credits and Discounts

All bookings, purchases and sales are final. No Refunds will be given so please choose your session day, time and park carefully! All cancellation and credit requests must be made in writing via email to hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com.

Cancellation policies:

Group Sessions: No refunds are given. For cancellations due to change of mind or unforeseen circumstances a credit will be given only if the space is able to be filled for the remaining sessions of term. The credit amount will depend on the time the space is taken/booked from. For cancellations due to injury a credit will be provided however a medical certificate is required. All cancellation requests are required to email RockNSlide at hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com with your request and reason. If we are unable to fill the space, no credit will be provided. Credits will be determined case by case by RockNSlide Skateboarding.

Private Sessions: No refunds are given. Sessions cancelled by us due to weather will be rescheduled or credited. We have a strict 48hr and 24hr notice policy. A credit or reschedule if possible will be provided for 48hr cancellation notice. Cancellations within 24hours will be at the discretion of Rock N Slide Skateboarding. No shows will result in no credit or refund. All notice must be provided in writing via email to hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com. 

Birthday Parties: If the party is cancelled before the balance is due ( up to 1 week prior to the party) we will credit the deposit. If the party is cancelled within the 1 week leading up to the party we will provide a credit for the deposit only however if it needs to be rescheduled please email us and we will do our best to find another date for you. If the party is cancelled within 24 hours we will not provide a credit. No refunds will be provided.

Skate Adventures: No refunds will be given. 48hour cancellation notice is required for a credit if the space on the adventure can be filled by another participant. No credits will be given if the space is unable to be filled. 

Private Events: Cancellations will be assessed by RockNSlide Skateboarding and handled accordingly. Cancellations within 48hours will result in no credit, no refund. 

Wet Weather Policies:

Group Session & Private Session Wet Weather Policy:

Classes/Private Sessions lost due to rain, inclement weather or any other reasons will be made up for and arranged by Rock 'N' Slide Skateboarding in the form of a make-up session or credit. Credits will only be offered if a make-up session is unable to be scheduled by RockNSlide Skateboarding.

Rock N Slide Skateboarding will make a decision and advise via text at least 30 minutes prior to the session if the session is cancelled due to wet or extreme weather. It is at Rock N Slide Skateboardings discretion if the session will be cancelled. A make-up session will be scheduled and each participant/parent/caregiver will be notified once the time and date has been scheduled. If a suitable date or time can not be scheduled by RockNSlide Skateboarding for the make-up session a credit will be provided and can be used for any future bookings. This is at RockNSlide's discretion and does not apply to participants who are unable to attend a scheduled make-up. Please view the Credits section for more information on credits and how to use them.

Skate Adventure Wet Weather Policy:

A decision will be made at RockNSlide Skateboardings discretion if a Skate Adventure will go ahead or be cancelled. If the session is cancelled all parents/guardians/caregivers listed on the booking will be notified via email and or text message. In the event of a cancellation a credit will be provided if an alternative date can not be scheduled. All decisions are made by RockNSlide Skateboarding and are final once announced. No refunds will be given in the case of cancellations. Please view the Credits section for more information on credits and how to use them.

If the Skate Adventure is to go ahead in wet weather an alternative itinerary will be created and may include the following activities; RNS HQ ramp skate, arts & crafts, Cinema visit, inflatable world, games & activities at RNS HQ, lunch. RockNSlide skateboarding will advise of the plan and itinerary the day before your scheduled Skate Adventure.

Make-Up Sessions:

Make-up sessions for group lessons are run at RockNSlides discretion. We will do our best to schedule make-up on a Saturday or over the school holidays. Dates and Times are at Rock 'N' Slide Skateboardings discretion and may not run at the same time as your usual lesson.

If you are unable to make the arranged and designated make-up lesson no credit or refund will be given.

If a make-up session is unable to be scheduled during the term it will be scheduled over the school holidays.

Please note, if you cannot make it to your session, a make-up lesson will not be available. 

You are not permitted to join another lesson unless otherwise advised by Rock 'N' Slide Skateboarding as you are reserving a place in your chosen lesson.

Credits: 

Credits will be applied to individual accounts. To use a credit an account is required to be created. You will be required to log/create an account and 'apply' the credit via the store credit button in the account homepage. You can select the whole or part of the amount to use.

If you do not apply the credit and you checkout and complete the payment no refund for the credit amount will be given. The credit amount will be held in your account for 12 months to use on any future purchases. If you encounter issues applying the credit please contact hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com before completing the checkout.

If you have been provided a credit and are no longer attending a group session your space is not held in that group and you will not receive the individual class links. If you are credited for your space it means we were able to fill your space in the session. Current clients have priority booking. Email hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com to go on the waitlist if you wish to rejoin the session.

No Refunds:

We do not accept cancellations due to change of mind and no refunds are offered. 

We do not offer credits for change of mind or if you are unable to attend a less or term.

Cancellations due to illness or injury will be credited at Rock N Slides discretion if the injury happens within an RNS session. 

Any refunds approved by Rock 'N' Slide Skateboarding will incur a fee of $10.00.

No Shows:

No refunds or make-up sessions will be given for no-shows to private sessions or birthday parties.

Discounts:

Discounts are provided at the discretion of Rock N Slide Skateboarding only.

 

Parental Supervision

Children must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult and must not be left unattended during the session. Responsibility lies with the parent or guardian throughout the session. 

Behaviour Policy

At Rock N Slide Skateboarding we endeavour to create and provide a welcoming, fun and energetic environment for all participants. To ensure this all students and parents/guardians are required to behave in a friendly, well-mannered and respectful way.

They must be tolerant and considerate of others and respecting coaches and fellow students.

Any behaviour seen outside of the above will not be tolerated and parents/participants will be asked to not return to lessons with no refund or credit. In a minor case, 3 warnings will be issued before being removed from classes and then expelled from the Rock N Slide Skateboard Club with no refund or credit.

Session Times:

All programs run to coincide with the Queensland school term, unless otherwise stated. Our classes are run at a maximum of 7:1-10:1 ratio before and after school.

Sessions do not run on public holidays and prices are adjusted to reflect this.

Beginner classes commence at 3.30pm and intermediate classes commence at 4.30pm unless otherwise stated on the individual class listing online. Our morning classes commence at 6:30am and run for 1hr (60 minutes) and cater to mixed levels. Please check individual listing for times and suitability of each class. The above information is a guide only.

Our girls only lesson is run on a Thursday morning at Tugun skatepark.

Skate Adventures are tailored per the Queensland school holidays. They run for up to 9 hours per tour and cater for 10-15 kids.

Online Orders: Shipping, Delivery Methods & Exchanges

A order confirmation will be emailed to you after you have completed your order online. Your chosen shipping/delivery method will be listed on your invoice. If you have any queries regarding your confirmation please email at hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com

Shipping: Once an order is confirmed by our warehouse please allow 2-5 days for your item to be shipped. Only orders that have paid a postage charge will be shipped. A flat rate of $8.00 is charged for standard shipping on apparel items. For multiple item orders the shipping will be automatically calculated. Shipping costs vary for Protective Gear, Skateboards and Hardware.

Pick-Up: Pick-up is valid only for orders to be collection from our Burleigh HQ. A notification will be emailed once your order is ready for collection. Please email hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com with your order number to arrange a suitable time for the collection. A collection time must be set as our office is not always open. Please do not select this option if you wish to collect your item at your session. Please allow 5-7 days for your item to be ready for collection.

Session Collection: If you wish to collect your order at your session please select this option. A small fee is charged as our coaches have to go out of their way to collect the orders from our HQ and bring them to your session. Please note this may take longer and allow 1-2 weeks for delivery as this depends on coach availability.

Exchanges: If you would like to arrange for a size exchange on your Rock N Slide Shirt please email hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com with your name, order # and confirmation, date of purchase and exchange details. Exchanges are not guaranteed and depend on availability and will be assessed on a case by case basis. Items must be clean, un-worn and in original condition.

Refunds: A refund will only be offered in the case of a faulty item where a replacement can not be offered. Proof of fault must be provided by email to hello@rocknslideskateboarding.com within 7 days of purchase. Faults do not include general wear and tear. Cases will be assessed and approved by RockNSlide Skateboarding before a refund or exchange is provided.

2021 COVID-19 TERMS & POLICY UPDATES:

Any sessions cancelled due to COVID restrictions or lockdowns including group, privates, birthday parties, camps or skate adventures will be credited to each participant if a new date/time can not be scheduled.  RockNSlide will advise if spaces will be held for the sessions or if a re-book is required. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

RockNSlide Skateboarding follows the guidelines set by the Australian and Queensland government as well as the World Health Organisation. 

We will advise the process and update all participants accordingly and as quickly as possible once we receive the information.

Please follow RockNSlide Skateboarding's advise as our business is at risk if any participants, parents, family do not follow instructions. These instructions and guidelines are in place to keep everyone safe so we can continue to skate.

2020 COVID POLICY: Group lessons will commence in term 3. Private sessions will be offered once restrictions lift and all make-up sessions will be scheduled at appropriate times. Intermediate make-up lessons will be scheduled from approx June 13th with all beginner and micro groms make-ups scheduled in term 3.

Term 1 2020: Credits will be issued for outstanding lessons from Term 1 that were cancelled before the 18th of March. Lessons cancelled after 18th of March will be honoured in the form of a make-up session after restrictions lift in June & July. Credits will be available to use for term 3, private sessions, birthday parties, skate adventures and holiday group sessions. No refunds will be given as per our general terms and conditions of bookings.

Term 2 2020: Term 2 bookings will be credited. You will receive an email with your credit amount and instructions on how to use your credits. Credits will be available to use for term 3, private sessions, birthday parties, skate adventures and holiday group sessions. No refunds will be given as per our general terms and conditions of bookings.

Skate Adventures 2020: Skate Adventure bookings from April will be credited and be available to use for future skate adventures, term bookings, private sessions, birthday parties and holiday group sessions. No refunds will be given as per our general terms and conditions of bookings.

Private Sessions 2020: Private session bookings will be credited. Credits will be available to use for term 3 2020, private sessions, birthday parties, skate adventures and holiday group sessions. No refunds will be given as per our general terms and conditions of bookings.

Privacy Policy

At Rock N Slide Skateboarding we are dedicated to keeping your information and details secure and private.

We use your information for your orders, bookings, confirmations and to keep you informed and updated with relevant information. We do not share your information with any third parties.

Please keep your personal information up-to-date to ensure the best possible communication!

Throughout the program there will be filming and photography, please advise if you do not wish for imagery of your child to be used for business and marketing purposes.
